Business Analyst Governance & Process Management
Job Summary
Seeking a Business Analyst to support governance, documentation, monitoring, and process formalization initiatives. The role focuses on documenting workflows, defining governance frameworks, creating RACI matrices, supporting incident response and business continuity planning, and improving operational visibility through structured reporting and monitoring processes. The Business Analyst will work closely with IT, Security, Compliance, and Operations teams, while technical implementation remains the responsibility of IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Document business processes, SOPs, workflows, and governance frameworks.
- Develop and maintain RACI matrices, incident response procedures, and continuity plans.
- Support vendor access governance and compliance documentation.
- Analyze current processes and recommend workflow improvements.
- Coordinate monitoring and reporting activities related to DLP, UEBA, and operational thresholds.
- Assist in crisis communication and regulatory response planning.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and gather business requirements.
- Track governance actions, risks, and remediation activities.
Required Skills
- Strong business analysis and process documentation skills.
- Experience with governance, compliance, and risk management processes.
- Knowledge of workflow mapping and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, or MS Office.
Preferred
- Experience in IT governance or cybersecurity environments.
- Understanding of incident management, business continuity, DLP, and UEBA concepts.
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
