Position: Chief Estimator for Construction Projects
Location: Quebec
Join our team as a Chief Estimator in construction, focusing on accurate labor and material cost analysis. Located on-site, this is a permanent, full-time role with no remote work options.
You will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, reading blueprints, and creating master format estimates. Your expertise in analyzing tenders and implementing cost monitoring systems will be crucial. With your background in commercial and industrial construction, you will help manage projects ranging from $100,001 to $1,500,000.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare labor and material cost estimates
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Create Class A master format estimates
• Submit reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
• Analyze tenders and provide award recommendations
Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Experience in commercial construction
• Strong database skills
• Valid work authorization in Canada
