Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, including operating various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. A strong focus on customer service and delivery timelines is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive a variety of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks.
- Load and unload freight securely to ensure safe transport.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when necessary.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driver experience.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Familiarity with various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.

Base Pay: $0.65 – $0.70 per mile
