Compensation: CAD $19.33 / hour
Responsibilities
- Preparation of foods, including washing, peeling, and slicing.
- Cleaning work areas and storing deliveries in their proper location.
- Maintain solid knowledge of all food products, sanitation standards, and all policies/procedures and applying culinary techniques.
- Operate, maintain, and clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, flat‑top grill, and other equipment according to instructions.
- Assist in lowering food cost and waste, properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
- Work as a team, helping all team members complete the required activities that ensure we blow away Guest expectations.
- Perform duties in accordance with company standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as requested.

Experience, Education, and Certifications
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Minimum of 2‑year cooking experience.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Standalone restaurant experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write, and understand English.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
