This role requires expertise in heavy machinery, from Cat 18M Graders to CAT 777 Trucks, ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained. You’ll collaborate with your team to solve operational challenges and mentor newer team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance and safekeeping of equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot potential equipment issues
• Engage in team efforts to enhance equipment efficiency
• Accurately track equipment usage and logs
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of operating heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Equipment maintenance experience considered beneficial
• Heavy equipment operator training an asset
