Overview
Material Handler/Machine Operator – Onsite, Calgary, AB
Responsibilities
- Store and distribute materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all activity is accurately recorded and resolve discrepancies in accordance with internal policy while supporting customer needs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy for physical inventory and system inventory; meet productivity goals for material handling activities.
- Move, load and unload products within the warehouse; break down product into storage and selling units, and repackage as needed.
Qualifications
- Directly related distribution centre experience; high energy level and an active approach.
- Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and packaging labels.
- Manual dexterity; comfortable bending, lifting, kneeling, and using ladders.
- Experience with software supporting distribution centre operations (e.g., warehouse control systems, SAP).
