This position focuses on providing a safe, caring environment for children. As a Child Care Worker, you are responsible for planning activities that cater to the physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of the kids. Collaborate closely with families and coworkers to ensure a holistic experience for every child in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan engaging developmental activities for children
• Attend to children’s physical and emotional needs
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
• Build relationships with parents and caregivers
• Utilize the Early Learning Framework in daily activities
Requirements:
• Preferably possess an Infant/Toddler License or ECE license
• One year of child care experience required
• Knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework
• Ability to work in a noisy, distracting environment
• Valid Criminal Record Check and First Aid certification required
