Position Description

JJS CANADA is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Sales Director – Ontario & Western Canada to lead and execute the company’s growth initiatives within the assigned territory.

Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Director, this role is responsible for developing, structuring, and deploying commercial strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth. The Director ensures overall sales performance, new business development, team leadership, and the achievement of short-, mid-, and long-term objectives.

The position plays a key role in planning commercial activities, organizing resources, leading and coaching the sales team, and monitoring performance through key performance indicators to support consistent and scalable growth.

In addition, the Director is accountable for the effective use and optimization of the CRM system (Pipedrive), ensuring strong team adoption, high-quality data management, accurate pipeline tracking, and continuous improvement of sales processes.

Key Objectives of the Role

  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
  • Develop new strategic customers across the territory.
  • Structure and strengthen the regional commercial organization.
  • Improve the performance and effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Ensure the execution of marketing and commercial strategies.
  • Increase market share within targeted segments.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure optimal use and adoption of the CRM system (Pipedrive).

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Commercial Strategy
  • Define and execute the regional commercial strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Establish sales forecasts and ensure accuracy of projections.
  • Set sales targets by territory and by sales representative.
  • Develop and manage the regional budget.
  • Plan and implement growth and promotional initiatives.
  • Analyze market dynamics and identify emerging trends.
  • Organization & Territory Management
  • Structure and optimize the regional sales team.
  • Manage the Ontario & Western Canada territory effectively.
  • Optimize the allocation of commercial resources.
  • Implement and standardize sales systems and processes.
  • Ensure effective management and continuous optimization of the Pipedrive CRM.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and clients.
  • Prepare and deliver corporate presentations and commercial proposals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to drive performance.
  • Motivate and align the team around strategic objectives.
  • Conduct regular field visits with sales representatives.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture.
  • Make strategic commercial decisions to support growth.
  • Negotiate and establish long-term agreements with key decision-makers (National Sales & Marketing Director & CEO).
  • Performance Management & Control
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Evaluate overall commercial performance and results.
  • Oversee individual and team performance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability within the CRM.
  • Analyze competitive landscape (products, pricing, strategies).
  • Identify performance gaps and root causes.
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure delivery of a world-class customer experience.

Required Profile

Who You Are

  • A strategic and results-driven commercial leader with strong execution capabilities at the regional level.
  • A hands-on manager capable of structuring, developing, and mobilizing a regional sales team toward clear objectives.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, competitive environment, with the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities across a large territory.
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Driven by performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction and commercial excellence.

What You Have Done

  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, including team leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven experience managing a sales territory and driving revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Experience in industrial, technical, or distribution environments (considered a strong asset).
  • Track record of improving sales performance and implementing structured sales processes.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM systems (preferably Pipedrive) for pipeline management and performance tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, reporting, and KPI monitoring.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Ontario & Western Canada as required.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); French is considered an asset.
  • Ideally based in Ontario or Western Canada.
