Position Details:
Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will oversee 2 Manufacturing Plants, 1 Warehouse, and 1 Farm.
Compensation details:
- Annual Salary Range: $125,000.00 – $175,000.00 (less applicable deductions)

Role Overview:
Mera Cannabis is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Operations to oversee our diverse production landscape. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operational success of four distinct sites: two high-output manufacturing facilities, a centralized warehouse/distribution hub, and our cultivation farm.
The successful candidate will be a "boots-on-the-ground" leader capable of harmonizing complex supply chains, optimizing manufacturing throughput, and maintaining rigorous quality standards across both indoor and agricultural environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Multi-Site Strategy: Develop and execute operational roadmaps that integrate manufacturing, cultivation, and logistics to ensure seamless product flow.
- Production Excellence: Drive efficiency and yield improvements across two manufacturing sites, focusing on Lean methodologies and "no-cost" continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage warehouse operations and inventory controls to support just-in-time delivery for retail and wholesale partners.
- Farm Management: Collaborate with cultivation teams to align farm output with manufacturing demand and seasonal processing requirements.
- P&L Accountability: Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and capital expenditure across all four locations to maximize profitability.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all sites operate in strict accordance with Health Canada regulations, OHS standards, and internal Quality Assurance protocols.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop site managers, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational discipline.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Industry Background: Proven experience in a relevant industry such as Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or the Cannabis industry is required.
- Operational Tenure: 7+ years of progressive operational leadership experience in manufacturing or largescale production environments.
- Multi-Site Management: Demonstrated ability to manage operations across multiple geographically dispersed locations.
- Regulatory Savvy: Familiarity with highly regulated environments (Health Canada, FDA, or similar) is an asset.
- CI Mindset: Strong grasp of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma principles with a focus on practical, high-impact implementation.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both executive leadership and frontline production teams.

- Adaptability: Comfortable pivoting between the technical requirements of a farm and the precision of a manufacturing plant.
- Problem Solving: A knack for identifying bottlenecks and implementing sustainable solutions under pressure.
- Strategic Vision: The ability to look beyond the daily fire-drills to build long-term operational resilience.
