Work Location:
Candidates are required to work at various locations in the Calgary Region as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $36 per hour (35-40 hours per week)
Qualifications
- Education:
Completion of High School
- Experience:
2-3 years of experience
- Language:
Basic Knowledge of English - Eligible to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Measure, fit, cut, and install drywall sheets
- Position and secure sheets to metal and wooden studs
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Apply taping machine and embed tape in compound over joints
- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Working Conditions
- Candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, overtime if required.
- Candidate should be able to lift weight up to 50lbs.
- Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
