In this position, you will inspect construction activities, ensuring they align with the Environmental Management System and statutory regulations. This dual office and on-site role involves significant collaboration with construction teams and stakeholders to foster environmental protection. You’ll actively address issues and promote best practices, enhancing the sustainability of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with environmental laws
• Collaborate with teams to resolve environmental issues
• Document findings and maintain accurate reports
• Develop and deliver environmental awareness training
• Investigate incidents related to environmental concerns
Requirements:
• Minimum of three years of relevant environmental experience
• Canadian Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control certification
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Capable of preparing comprehensive technical reports
• Comfortable working in outdoor settings year-round
