Blue Sky Consulting is growing, and we’re looking for an ERP Business Analyst with 5+ years of accounting experience who thrives at the intersection of finance and technology.

About the Role:
You will work closely with finance teams, controllers, and executive stakeholders to analyze processes, gather requirements, and deliver ERP solutions — primarily within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related ecosystems.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has a strong accounting foundation
- Strong understanding of ERP implementation
- Understands financial reporting, controls, and audit processes
- Enjoys improving systems and optimizing workflows
- Can bridge the gap between finance and technical teams
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and requirement workshops
- Analyze accounting and financial processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, inventory, job costing)
- Translate business needs into functional specifications
- Configure and validate ERP finance modules
- Support UAT, training, and go-live activities
- Advise clients on best practices, internal controls, and process optimization
- Collaborate with developers and technical consultants
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- ERP understanding and experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements, month-end close, and audit support
- Consulting experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- CPA designation (or in progress)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
