WQS Non-Destructive Testing is seeking an Experienced NDE Technician to enhance operations in Burnaby, BC. This role involves crucial inspection techniques and certifications necessary for high-quality service.
Join WQS NDT’s dedicated team and bring at least three years of practical NDT inspection experience. You will be responsible for ultrasonic scanning, corrosion mapping, and ensuring pipeline integrity. A valid CGSB certification in MT, PT, UT Level I, or UT Level II is a must, along with a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ultrasonic scanning and corrosion mapping services
• Perform various NDT inspection techniques and procedures
• Support call-out work and operational needs as required
• Complete WQS Performance Demonstration Qualification
• Ensure pipeline integrity inspection as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum three years practical NDT inspection experience
• CGSB certification in relevant NDT methods
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clear abstract
• Strong technical aptitude and work ethic
• Willingness to travel for project work
