Position: Experienced Registered Nurse for Island Health

Reporting to the Rural Health Manager, this role requires two years of related experience in medical/surgical and emergency nursing. You will be responsible for administering care, guiding team members, and responding effectively to emergencies while following nursing standards set by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional nursing care to assigned patients
• Coordinate multifaceted patient care delivery
• Support staff and volunteers in medical settings
• React calmly to emergency situations effectively
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality care protocols
Requirements:
• Current registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Two years’ nursing experience in relevant fields
• Certification in Basic Life Support, Level C
• Preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support qualification
• Valid BC Driver’s License
