Position: Finance Leader for Student Engagement Initiatives
Drive financial strategy and budgeting efforts as VP Finance for Student Engagement Initiatives. Manage financial reporting, cash management, and reimbursement processes for successful event facilitation.
This position requires you to work closely with co-chairs to develop a comprehensive budgeting plan for the Student Engagement Team’s activities. You will oversee all financial accounts, track cash flows meticulously, and ensure compliance with organization procedures for reimbursement requests. Promoting a welcoming atmosphere for second-year and exchange students is a crucial aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial accounts for the Student Engagement Team
• Monitor cash flows and maintain budget accuracy
• Follow AMS procedures for reimbursement requests
• Distribute budgets for various events effectively
• Work alongside co-chairs to secure funding support
Requirements:
• Currently a student at the UBC Sauder School of Business
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Keen interest in financial analytics and budgeting
• Previous budgeting experience is an asset
• Personable and enthusiastic attitude
