About the Opportunity:
- Responsible for full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including adjustments, remittances, year-end reporting, and payroll-related journal entries
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with employment standards and applicable agreements
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, payment processing, and vendor support
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment application, aging reports, and reconciliations
- Administer resident trust accounts in accordance with regulatory requirements, including deposits, withdrawals, and monthly reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, schedules, and variance analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and compliance standards
- Support process improvements and contribute to special projects as required
About You:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience including, General Accounting/AP/AR/Payroll processing/Billing
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
