In this hands-on role, the Fleet Manager reports to the Logistics & Donation Centre Manager and directs operations across a single-site distribution center. You will lead a team of around 20 employees while managing fleet maintenance, route planning, and compliance with safety regulations. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and oversee daily transportation routes
• Coordinate pickup and delivery requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Monitor fleet maintenance and repairs
• Provide leadership to drivers and logistics staff
Requirements:
• College education in logistics or related field
• 5 years of transportation or logistics experience
• Leadership experience of 1-2 years
• Forklift operating certification required
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
