Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour
About the Opportunity:
Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator for a full-time, permanent position with one of our valued clients in the distribution industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse environment with consistent hours and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and organize products
Pick and pack orders based on customer requirements
Maintain accurate inventory organization and warehouse cleanliness
Prepare shipping documentation and ensure all outgoing orders are properly recorded
Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies
Initiate and document claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect items
Support general warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
Valid forklift certification is considered an asset
Experience working with fresh produce is required
Familiarity with RF scanners is preferred
Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work weekends as required
