Mr. Handyman of Burnaby, New Westminster and North Vancouver is looking for Skilled Technicians to serve residential and commercial customers. You can earn a comfortable living helping clients with small to medium repairs, remodeling, and improvement projects. We are part of a national franchise but locally owned, focusing on “smaller” projects ranging from a few hours to a few days. Qualifications
- Skilled tradesperson with 5–10 years of experience and broad expertise in maintenance, repair, and remodeling.
- Strong carpentry background and a “can do” attitude.
- Own tools suitable for many job types; larger equipment is provided and shared among the team.
- Excellent customer communication skills, as you are often the only team member present at a customer’s home or commercial location.
- Clean driving record (no DUI or suspended license) and successful background check.
- Friendly with a clean appearance.
- Reasonably proficient with computers and tablet/smartphone apps.
- Takes pride in work and delivers excellent results each time.
Responsibilities
- Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and improvement projects.
- Perform light demolition work.
- Carpentry tasks.
- Drywall repairs.
- Facilities maintenance.
- Painting.
- Cabinet and counter assembly and repair.
- Communicate with customers about scope of work and cost estimates.
- Ensure efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment.
- Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
- Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross‑training in related positions.

- Pay range: $32.00 to $40.00 per billable hour, dependent on experience.
