Senior HR Business Partner/Head of HR
Location: Canada, Remote
Salary: C$130,000 – C$140,000 + Bonus

About the Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have extensive HR experience within fast-moving or scaling organisations (within Tech or Media) and be comfortable operating in both strategic and operational capacities. You will possess strong employee relations knowledge, experience influencing senior stakeholders, and the ability to work autonomously within lean HR environments. This company is US owned and you will report into the CEO, you must have experience working with US companies and employees.
About the Job
This is a senior-level HR opportunity combining strategic business partnering with hands-on operational leadership. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will support the delivery of group-wide people initiatives while taking ownership of the full HR function across the business unit. The role will suit someone who enjoys balancing strategic influence with day-to-day delivery in a fast-paced environment. This role will have 2 direct reports.
Duties will include:
- Partnering with senior leadership teams to deliver people strategy aligned to business objectives
- Advising on organisational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Leading HR operations across the full employee lifecycle
- Managing employee relations matters and supporting risk mitigation processes
- Supporting recruitment activity alongside hiring managers
- Overseeing performance management, engagement initiatives, and compensation processes
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal governance standards
- Maintaining accurate HR reporting, systems, and employee records
- Supporting acquisition activity and post-acquisition people integration projects
- Acting as a key liaison between the business unit and wider group HR function
