Position: Health Aide at Island Health

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Support emotional and psychosocial needs of clients
• Promote autonomy and choices among residents
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Operate necessary healthcare equipment as required
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education plus recognized Nursing Assistant Program
• Registration with the BC Care Aide registry
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the role
• Typing proficiency for documentation tasks
