As a Unit Assistant, you will support health services under the supervision of a healthcare manager.
Your role will include patient care assistance, performing basic supportive tasks, and embodying the values and objectives of Shared Health. Candidates with previous patient care experience are preferred for this 0.50 FTE position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with patient care under supervision
• Provide basic supportive care as needed
• Organize and prioritize assigned workload
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Participate in self-development opportunities
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 10 education, Manitoba standards
• Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course
• Ability to lift and transport patients
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Competency in an Indigenous language preferred
