Position: Heavy Equipment Loader Operator Role
Join Tenaris as a dedicated Loader Operator based in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Focused on safely operating heavy equipment, you will enhance shipping and receiving efficiency through accurate inventory management.
In this role, you will maneuver essential equipment, including front-end loaders and Pettibone, to handle tubular materials. Emphasis on safety, compliance with policies, and preventative maintenance checks will be instrumental to your success in this position. You’ll also ensure inventory accuracy through innovative tracking technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Yard Technicians in daily yard activities
• Conduct daily safety inspections and maintenance on equipment
• Load and transport tubular products for shipment safely
• Prepare loads accurately for third-party transport
• Maintain equipment and yard readiness throughout seasons
Requirements:
• Loader/Operator certification or intent to obtain
• At least 1 year experience with shipping and receiving
• Hands-on experience with wheel loaders and PET equipment
• Strong technical aptitude for learning new systems
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License mandatory
