Become a vital part of our Edmonton Hotel team as a Houseperson, focused on cleanliness and customer service. Stock linens, respond to guest requests, and ensure pristine common areas daily.
This full-time position in Edmonton, Alberta involves maintaining cleanliness in guest areas and responding effectively to requests. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have excellent communication abilities. Previous cleaning experience is an asset, as you’ll be responsible for a wide range of custodial duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stock linen rooms and deliver supplies to guest rooms
• Collect and dispose of garbage from service areas
• Clean guest corridors, elevators, and furniture
• Assist with moving furniture and handling drapes
• Report maintenance defects to the housekeeping office
Requirements:
• Stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Previous experience in cleaning preferred
• Strong communication skills for radio use
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
