Target Compensation Range: $50k – $60k/yr

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Coordinator / Specialist to work in our Toronto, Canada main office to support day-to-day HR operations with a strong focus on global talent sourcing and compliance. This role will report to the Operations Director in Toronto and collaborate with our existing global HR/Admin Manager working at our Karachi office.
This is an execution-focused role ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in HR, with opportunities for mentorship and progression into a managerial position. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting recruitment and sourcing efforts, monitoring and maintaining compliance across teams to company standards and legal requirements, and contributing to a positive and efficient employee experience.
What you will own:
You will be the primary HR administrator for our team members working in Canada as well as globally, ensuring smooth people operations, continued engagement and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment coordination, onboarding, documentation, and offboarding.
· Execute global and remote talent sourcing initiatives, including candidate outreach, screening, scheduling, and pipeline management.
· Monitor, maintain and promote a positive company culture and adherence to our Core Values.
· Assist in maintaining compliance across Canadian labor requirements, ensuring policies and practices align with applicable laws.
· Prepare employment documentation, maintain employee records, and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
· Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and consistent new hire experience.
· Assist in the creation and deployment of e-learning training modules to employees to support onboarding, efficiency and understanding.
· Monitor and support adherence to internal HR policies, procedures, and company standards.
· Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, escalating more complex issues as needed.
· Assist in performance tracking, reporting, and HR analytics to support leadership decision-making.
· Support training and development initiatives, including scheduling and tracking completions.
· Collaborate with leadership to support employee engagement initiatives and operational HR projects.
What success looks like:
· Sourcing and recruiting stays on-track with positions filled in a timely manner.
· New hires are onboarded correctly per the existing program and graduate probation on-time.
· Employee engagement remains high per surveying and scoring standard.
· Employee issues are prioritized and resolved quickly to standard.
· Company policies and SOPs are followed and training modules are created, deployed and completed in a timely manner by assigned employees.

Required Skills & Experience:
· 2+ years working in a similar Human Resources role in Canada, with retail HR practices preferred
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification within the HR field
· Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks efficiently
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information
· Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role
