As a Junior Financial Analyst in our Finance team, you will report to the Finance Manager and work with professionals across Western Canada. Your responsibilities include GL coding, month-end close participation, and variance analysis. You’ll enhance existing reporting practices and provide analysis for critical business decisions while supporting budget preparation and ad-hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Determine correct GL coding entries in Oracle ERP
• Organize periodic deposits with necessary GL coding
• Assist in month-end closing processes
• Research and report on key financial variances
• Prepare presentations for management review
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Less than 1 year of work or internship experience
• Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Adaptable to a dynamic work environment
