Enhance children’s learning as an Inclusion Support Educator at Nshwaasnangong Child Care & Family Centre in London, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on supporting children’s diverse developmental needs in a caring environment.
The Inclusion Support Educator reports to the Childcare Program Supervisor and collaborates closely with classroom educators to implement Individual Support Plans for children with special needs. You will engage in supportive interactions, handle various developmental challenges, and contribute to a culturally grounded learning environment for Indigenous children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Individual Support Plans for children in the classroom
• Model social-emotional behaviors for educators and children
• Provide tailored support for children with diverse needs
• Assist with specialized programming under professional direction
• Collect documentation for behavior intervention planning
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience with children’s needs
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and histories
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certificates
