Adecco is currently hiring a full-time IT Data Analyst for our client, a leader in leveraging data and automation to drive operational efficiency across IT and OT systems in Calgary, AB

Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management (ETL)
- Gather and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency
Data Analysis & Modeling
- Analyze large datasets using statistical and analytical techniques
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to support decision-making
- Build and maintain data models for forecasting and optimization
Reporting & Communication
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports (Power BI)
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes through automation
- Troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance
- Adopt and implement new technologies to solve business challenges
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with Power BI and data modeling techniques
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Experience with Databricks, MS SQL Server, or PI Data Historian
- Knowledge of REST APIs and additional visualization tools
- Understanding of oil & gas (upstream), SCADA, field data capture, or SAP systems
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
