Adecco is currently hiring a full-time IT Data Analyst for our client, a leader in leveraging data and automation to drive operational efficiency across IT and OT systems in Calgary, AB

Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management (ETL)

  • Gather and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency

Data Analysis & Modeling

  • Analyze large datasets using statistical and analytical techniques
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to support decision-making
  • Build and maintain data models for forecasting and optimization

Reporting & Communication

  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports (Power BI)
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes through automation
  • Troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance
  • Adopt and implement new technologies to solve business challenges

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Experience with Power BI and data modeling techniques
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Experience with Databricks, MS SQL Server, or PI Data Historian
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and additional visualization tools
  • Understanding of oil & gas (upstream), SCADA, field data capture, or SAP systems
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
