Core Responsibilities
- Design legally realistic litigation scenarios drawn from practice areas including motions, discovery, depositions, briefs, and case strategy
- Write attorney-level reference responses that serve as benchmarks for model evaluation
- Grade model-generated outputs against structured rubrics and established legal standards
- Provide written feedback used by research teams to improve model behavior and reasoning quality
- Participate in onboarding sessions and specialty calibration to ensure consistency across evaluations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in civil litigation at a law firm, government agency, or legal department
- J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school, with active licensure to practice law
- Excellent written communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Background in employment litigation, patent litigation, or other litigation niches is a plus
- Familiarity with e-discovery tools (Relativity, document coding, privilege review) is advantageous
