Junior Buyer – Amico Accessories

Amico Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer of Medical Equipment and Architectural Products with 9 manufacturing facilities employing over 800 people across North America.
We are currently seeking a Buyer to join our Purchasing team based out of Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Mandarin is a definite asset
- Must have purchasing experience and be able to read manufacturing drawings.
- Formal college or university education
- Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, performance and developing long-term relationships
- Experience in Metal fabrication, surface finishes, custom manufacturing environment is an asset
- Highly organized, creative and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and executing RFQs/RFPs
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet quality, cost and the delivery objectives
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and Finance to align purchasing strategies with operational needs
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Perform daily reviews of purchase requests and the inventory management system, ensuring purchase orders are issued in a timely manner
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, established purchasing processes, and quality management workflows
- Other duties as required

Salary Range: $45,000 – $48,000
- Salary will be determined based on candidate's experience, skills and qualifications.
