Our client is a well-established public accounting firm providing forensic accounting, business valuation, and advisory services to clients across Family Law, commercial disputes, and insurance-related matters. The firm is known for its strong technical foundation, collaborative culture, and commitment to developing its professionals.

This is an existing vacancy within the firm’s forensic accounting practice and represents a key growth role. The Junior Forensic Accountant will work closely with senior forensic and valuation professionals to support insurance claims, business valuations, and dispute-related engagements while developing technical expertise and a long-term career path in forensic accounting.

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career forensic accounting professional who is motivated to learn, client-focused, and looking to build a strong foundation in valuations and forensic work.

 

What You’ll Accomplish in This Role

Forensic Accounting Support

  • Assist in forensic accounting and insurance claims engagements.
  • Prepare financial schedules, reports, and analyses under senior supervision.
  • Gain exposure to business valuations and dispute-related work.
  • Support insurance claims, loss quantification, and investigative work as required.
  • Work closely with lawyers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Technical Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance in assigned deliverables.
  • Apply technical expertise in forensic accounting and valuations under guidance.
  • Participate in internal standards, technical training, and professional development initiatives.

Team Development & Client Exposure

  • Collaborate with senior staff and learn from mentorship and coaching.
  • Attend client sites and support meetings, presentations, and engagement deliverables.
  • Develop professional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • CPA completed or recently completed; CBV started or strong interest in pursuing.
  • Early-career forensic accounting or valuation experience preferred; insurance claims exposure is a plus.
  • Family Law experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong work ethic, curiosity, coachability, and eagerness to learn.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Student-athletes or highly driven candidates are a strong fit.

Compensation & Details

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $95,000
  • Vacation: Standard paid time off
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
