Join ALS as a Laboratory Electronics Technician focused on the maintenance and repair of essential laboratory equipment. Weekend shifts are required as part of this engaging position.
As a part of the Instrumentation Maintenance team, you will handle repairs, calibration, and diagnostics under guidance. Your responsibilities will extend to electronic and mechanical fabrication, as well as system checks, ensuring optimal function and safety of laboratory devices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct technical support using service manuals
• Assist in repairs and upgrades of lab equipment
• Carry out preventive maintenance and calibrations
• Check cooling and hydraulic systems as needed
• Maintain shop organization and inventory management
Requirements:
• High school graduation or equivalent
• 2 years’ related experience required
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Proficient with small hand tools and measuring devices
• Excellent communication skills in English
