Position Overview
This role involves assembling trusses, maintaining a safe and efficient workspace, and working closely with team members to ensure high-quality production.
Key Qualifications
- Comfortable using common hand tools and accurately reading tape measurements in feet, inches, and sixteenths.
- Able to understand and follow written job instructions.
- Clear communicator in both spoken and written formats.
- Dependable team contributor with a strong commitment to safety.
- Organized, attentive to detail, and able to stay productive throughout the shift.
- Open to learning new skills and offering suggestions that support ongoing improvement efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare the workstation at the start of each assignment in coordination with the Team Leader.
- Construct trusses in line with company standards and training.
- Monitor the quality of materials, tools, and completed work, reporting any problems as needed.
- Keep the area neat and orderly during operations and before leaving for the day.
- Follow proper safety practices when using equipment and machinery.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly starting wage: $19.50.
