Position: Lead Senior Accountant at Hotel Trader
Take charge of accounting at Hotel Trader, a Highgate subsidiary. This Senior Accountant role oversees full-cycle accounting in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Hotel Trader is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to bridge finance and operations. In this pivotal position, you will manage accounts payable and receivable while ensuring accurate financial reporting. You’ll play a critical role in process improvements and month-end closures, allowing for professional growth within the next 6 to 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own full-cycle accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Lead the month-end close process for accurate financial reports
• Monitor AP and AR activities, providing support to both teams
• Prepare financial analyses and variance explanations for leadership
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred
• 4–6 years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close requirements
• Experience managing offshore teams, preferably in Asia
• High proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
