Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
- Act as a leader in optical acumen
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail
- Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions
- Use technology accurately under time pressure with exceptional product knowledge
- Proactively investigate root causes of issues and drive solutions to exceed customer expectations
- Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage competing priorities
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
- Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement and results
- Adhere to company policies, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management
Basic Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- State licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Awareness of current fashion trends
- Selling skills and ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
- Embrace new technology and change
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service and retail experience
Pay Range
US $27.49 – $38.31 per hour
