This position, reporting to the Senior Manager of Transportation, is crucial for managing load optimization using CubeIQ and Descartes Transportation Management systems. You will validate carrier selections and ensure compliance with arrival dates while maintaining accurate shipment data. Engaging with internal teams will also play a vital role in addressing logistics challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize CubeIQ for strategic truck loading
• Manage carrier selection within Descartes TMS
• Track shipments accurately through Macro Point
• Document load planning and optimization efforts
• Foster communication between carriers and warehouses
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or equivalent
• Technical proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
• Experience in freight transportation and analytics
• Solid customer service skills and multitasking capability
• Familiarity with TMS or truck load planning preferred
