Marketing Coordinator Jobs in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at Our House Hospitality Company

Marketing Coordinator

Our House Hospitality Company (OHHC) — Toronto (West End) — Full-time

We build restaurant concepts with a strong point of view, and we need someone to keep the story moving. This is the role that makes great content actually happen: shoots planned, calendars on track, posts out the door, every concept on-brand and on time.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Marketing Coordinator is the connective tissue between our restaurant owners and operators, our internal creative team, and the outside agencies and photographers who bring our brands to life. You won't be producing the creative — you'll own the coordination, scheduling, and deployment that gets it made and out into the world. It's a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who lives in the details and likes things to land on time.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Photoshoot & production coordination (~35%) — plan, schedule, and run photo/video shoots across all OHHC concepts. Build call sheets, shot lists, and briefs; manage logistics around live service; be the day-to-day contact for photographers, agencies, and vendors.
  • Marketing calendar & project coordination (~30%) — keep the content calendar on track across every concept; turn owner and operator priorities into clear briefs, timelines, and deadlines; flag scope or timing risks early.
  • Social & Instagram (~25%) — own day-to-day scheduling, publishing, and community management across our channels, Instagram first. Bring current platform know-how (Reels, Stories, trends, cadence) and report on what's working.
  • Asset organization & admin support (~10%) — maintain clean, well-named, version-controlled asset libraries and keep the right content flowing to the right channels.

YOU'LL FIT IF YOU

  • Know Instagram inside out — Reels, Stories, formats, trends, analytics.
  • Are relentlessly organized, with sharp project-coordination instincts and real attention to detail (this is the heart of the job).
  • Communicate clearly with owners, operators, internal teams, and outside partners — you ask good questions and take direction well.
  • Can write tight briefs, shot lists, and call sheets, and juggle several deadlines at once.
  • Have hands-on experience with social scheduling tools (Later, Planoly, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite) and project tools (Asana, monday.com, Trello).
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to work faster — drafting briefs, summarizing notes, building first-draft schedules, turning data into reporting — always on-brand and with sign-off on anything that ships.
  • Know your way around Adobe Creative Suite and Canva well enough to brief, review, and route work (hands-on production isn't part of this role).
  • Thrive in a fast-moving hospitality environment where priorities shift and deadlines hold.

EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED)

  • 3+ years in social media / content marketing, including hands-on Instagram (required).
  • 2+ years in a hospitality, food, hotel, or restaurant environment (required).
  • 2–3 years in marketing coordination, project/production coordination, or content operations; internship and freelance work counts. (required)
  • A diploma or degree in marketing, communications, or media is an asset — but demonstrated coordination ability matters most.
  • Canadian work experience is not required.

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • A hybrid rhythm: office-based coordination plus on-site shoots and restaurant visits.
  • Some evening and weekend work around shoots, events, and launches.
  • Travel to OHHC locations and partner sites across Toronto, Hamilton, and the Niagara Region.
  • On-location shoot days involve extended standing/moving and occasional lifting of props and supplies (up to ~25 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodation.

WHAT YOU GET

  • Compensation: CAD $48,000–$54,000/year
  • Dental care, paid time off, discounted/free food, on-site parking, casual dress.
  • A chance to take real ownership of how a distinctive hospitality group shows up — and grow with it.
