Position: Mechanical Engineer for Nuclear Projects
Support groundbreaking projects at ABMI as a Mechanical Engineer in the Bruce Power Refurbishment Program. Utilize your expertise to contribute to Canada’s largest nuclear life-extension initiative.
In this role, you will offer technical support for engineering and refurbishment activities within critical nuclear systems. ABMI seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop engineering solutions, resolve on-site issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your contributions will directly influence the long-term operation of significant nuclear facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical designs and engineering analyses
• Prepare Engineering Change Control packages
• Resolve construction and installation issues
• Support refurbishment projects for critical systems
• Ensure adherence to nuclear standards and codes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in nuclear or regulated industries
• Proficient in Design Engineering processes
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
• Familiar with ASME and CSA standards
