Love the outdoors and rural life? Strong communication skills? We are a warm and welcoming family located near Lundbrek, Alberta (1.5 hr south of Calgary), seeking a reliable and nurturing nanny to join our family on a full-time basis for 2 kids. Our location is remote, so being comfortable in the outdoors, with animals, and out of town is a must.
The position is Mon-Fri 730/8am to 5pm, no overnights or weekends.
Duties include playing with kids, planning some activities during the week based on interests and needs, making meals and supporting meal planning. lots of playing outdoors in all weather, crafts, and creative activities. In addition to childcare duties, the ideal candidate will be proficient in light housekeeping.
If you have a valid CPR/First Aid certification, police check (aka criminal record check) and are passionate about creating a safe and stimulating environment for children, we would love to hear from you.
We will be interviewing candidates over the phone to start, and require an in-person meet and greet, as well as references. To accommodate your needs, we are open to discussing both live-in and live-out options, and a competitive hourly rate starting.
