YARMAND in Ottawa is expanding and seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to maintain and repair outdoor power equipment. Contribute to a dynamic service environment with your expertise in machinery.
This full-time role focuses on diagnosing and repairing small engine equipment for both residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, updating documentation, and communicating effectively with customers about their service needs. You will also order parts and perform field service duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose residential and commercial small engine equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and parts installation
• Maintain work order documentation effectively
• Communicate with customers on repairs
• Manage parts ordering and inventory control
Requirements:
• Mechanical or small engine education or equivalent experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret manuals
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Able to lift over 50 lb physical tasks
• Familiarity with computers and email communication
