Position: Full-Time Palliative Care Physician
Fraser Health is seeking a dedicated full-time Palliative Care Physician in Surrey, B.C. Join a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality palliative care in our Palliative Complex Care Unit.
As a Palliative Care Physician with Fraser Health, you will be instrumental in providing Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage along with consultation services for both acute care and community-based patients. This role involves working closely with other physicians and nurse practitioners in a dynamic healthcare environment committed to comprehensive palliative care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide MRP coverage in the Palliative Complex Care Unit
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
• Deliver consultation services to acute care and community patients
• Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
• Support the healthcare needs in a large metropolitan area
Requirements:
• Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) in Palliative Medicine
• Two-year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine
• CCFP (PC), CPSBC Full, FRCPC required
• Commitment to integrated care
• Experience in diverse community healthcare settings
