This part-time position requires a Registered Early Childhood Educator dedicated to creating healthy and strong communities through nurturing environments. You will interact with a group of up to 15 children, engage in play-based learning activities, and ensure the safety and well-being of each child in the program. Strong communication skills and teamwork with families and fellow staff will be essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and first aid to children
• Monitor safety and engage actively with children
• Plan and implement YMCA curriculum activities
• Communicate professionally with families and staff
• Support all children’s needs, including exceptional behaviors
Requirements:
• Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing
• First Aid and CPR (Level
C) certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility in schedules and routines
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and work outdoors
