Position: Part Time Registered Practical Nurse Needed
Lakeridge Health Ajax is hiring a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse for Long Term Care. Provide quality nursing care, manage resident care plans, and communicate with families effectively.
This temporary position requires dedication and compassion in delivering nursing services to residents. You will assess, plan, and implement care; participate in discharge planning; and encourage resident engagement in therapies. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is essential to ensure high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate resident care needs
• Develop and maintain tailored care plans
• Communicate with families about resident conditions
• Assist in discharge planning and consultations
• Administer medications and injections as needed
Requirements:
• Current RPN certificate with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Empathy and commitment to quality resident care
• Criminal Investigation Reference for vulnerable sector
