We’re partnering with an innovative, fast-growing global technology company looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to take ownership of payroll, benefits, and HR systems in Canada.

This is more than a payroll processing role. You’ll become the subject matter expert across multiple payroll and HR platforms while helping shape the future of an integrated payroll and HRIS environment. Starting at $80k salary.

What You’ll Do

You’ll own payroll and benefits administration across Canada, United States, and Columbia with the opportunity to expand into global payroll as the organization continues to grow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process end-to-end semi-monthly payroll across Canada, the U.S and Columbia.
  • Administer employee lifecycle changes including new hires, terminations, compensation updates, direct deposits, and off-cycle payrolls.
  • Support payroll compliance, year-end activities (T4s, W-2s), ROEs, payroll reconciliations, and government reporting.
  • Manage day-to-day benefits and pension administration, including enrollments, terminations, invoice reconciliations, and employee support.
  • Maintain data integrity across payroll, HRIS, and benefits systems.
  • Generate payroll, benefits, and workforce reporting for Finance and HR.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate payroll and HR processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll operations and system improvements.
  • Grow into ownership of an additional international payroll as part of the company’s continued global expansion.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience supporting Canada, United States, Colombia
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian, U.S., and Columbian payroll legislation and employment standards
  • Experience with ADP
  • Experience working with HRIS systems such as BambooHR, Rippling, Workday, UKG, Dayforce, or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience administering employee benefits and pension programs
  • Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
