Role Description The Permit Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of permit applications for residential construction projects, including preparing documentation, submitting applications, tracking approvals, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, inspectors, and municipal authorities to ensure building permits and inspections are completed on schedule and in compliance with local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include communicating permit status updates, resolving issues that may delay approvals, supporting customers with permit-related questions, and helping ensure projects proceed smoothly from pre-construction through completion.
Qualifications
- Experience with permit applications and building permits, including preparing, submitting, and tracking documentation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to coordinate with clients, inspectors, and internal project teams.
- Knowledge of inspection processes and local building codes or willingness to learn regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
