The training begins with five weeks of paid instruction, leading to further education and practical experience in the field. Participants will learn personal care, household management, and general support to assist those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete five weeks of paid PSW training
• Participate in 4 months of virtual learning
• Engage in three weeks of in-person skills lab
• Work part-time in the community during training
• Address personal care and household management activities
Requirements:
• Valid G or G2 driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle for travel
• First Aid and CPR certification within three weeks
• Proof of required immunizations and tuberculosis test
• Clear police and vulnerable sector checks
