Position: Physiotherapist assistant (PTA)
Location: New Westminster
Responsibilities
- Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, record results, and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment.
- Assist during the assessment of patients.
- Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Maintain clinical and progress reports and document patient rehabilitation progress.
- Perform various administrative functions: schedule and confirm appointments, take patients general medical and ophthalmic history, manage routine office functions including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
