The Design Convergence Lead (DCL) engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of interior and exterior vehicle build requirements from concept phase through tooling kickoff. The DCL is responsible to:
– Lead cross functional team with the product design office, metafunction engineering, quality, and external suppliers to define and converge gap and flush engineering requirements
– Understand and apply the requirements of the Stellantis Customer Audit
– Analyze CAD data and tolerance stackup results to ensure correct application of Stellantis perceived quality design rules
– Manage project deliverables and KPIs
– Ensure appropriate escalation of issues
