Project Manager (12-Month Contract, High Potential to Extend)

Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple initiatives focused on innovative solutions that address capacity challenges through energy efficiency and demand response programs. This role involves managing research-based projects, driving customer engagement, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end, from planning and execution through to final evaluation
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and activity plans
- Design and execute targeted recruitment and engagement strategies in collaboration with marketing teams
- Develop reporting frameworks, track KPIs, and provide regular performance updates
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on project goals, processes, and execution
- Work with external vendors and partners to ensure project milestones and objectives are met
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to project participation
- Support procurement activities and vendor coordination
- Develop and implement project processes, policies, and procedures
- Create contingency plans to ensure project success
- Support additional activities such as data analysis, reporting, privacy assessments, and troubleshooting
- Oversee evaluation activities and ensure project outcomes are measured effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field
- PMP certification is preferred
- Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience developing and executing communication or engagement strategies
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly learn new technologies
Nice to Have
- Experience in the energy or utilities sector
- Experience with product or program development
- Knowledge of procurement processes and working with vendors
- Familiarity with privacy and data handling processes
