We are hiring a QA Analyst on a 9–12-month contract on behalf of a well-established organization in Toronto.
In your new role as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of pharmacy applications through requirements analysis, test planning, test execution, defect management and close collaboration with Product and Development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in story grooming, sprint planning, and regression testing
- Validate business and functional requirements
- Work in an Agile environment
- Clarify vague or incomplete requirements by engaging directly with developers and business teams
- Support testing throughout the SDLC
Technical Requirements:
- Strong Manual Testing experience
- Experience testing REST APIs and SOAP services
- Exposure to AI-related initiatives/tools is considered beneficial
- Hands-on experience with:
- Jira
- Confluence
- qTest
- ALM
- Postman
- SoapUI
- Remote Desktop
- Azure environments
Ideal candidate Profile
- You are a QA Analyst not a Software Tester
- 5 – 7+ years of experience preferred
- Pharmacy domain experience is highly preferred; Banking/Financial Services experience is also relevant
- Strong communication skills with the ability to review requirements, summarize documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders
- Must be able to investigate issues, identify root causes, and work with developers to resolve them
